Waves was incorporated in March 1993 by 3 of the
best installation technicians working at a
Minneapolis based multi-store chain. From a strip
mall in Fridley to a larger location in Spring
Lake Park we have now settled on a free standing
building in Anoka. We have always been a 1 store
independent dealer, and that will never change. We
specialize in doing what customers are told can't
be done. Over the years we have evolved from a car
stereo shop to a complete vehicle customization
facility with fiberglass fabrication being our
specialty.
Sound Waves demo vehicles are some of the most
recognized in the Twin Cities. The most recognized
vehicles are the 1961 Cadillac (Blue Caddy) 1981
Chevy C-10 (Blue Truck) 1995 Eagle Talon TSI
(Green Talon) and the 2000 VW Bug (BoomBug). The
one vehicle that truly represents the company is
the Caddy. At USACI finals in 2003 the caddy won
1st place in the DTS class, and in many of the
judges opinion was one of the best sounding
vehicles they have ever heard. The car was also
featured in numerous magazines including the
September 2002 issue of Car Audio.
Today our companies logo is a silouette of the car.
